The way I see it

The way I see it, everyone deserves a second chance. We all make mistakes, a wrong turn somewhere along the road, no one is flawless not you, not me, not anyone. If we can only admit it and go easy on each other things will be okay. Maybe we can start something new, strike off the past, take a different look at where we are and where we want to be.

The way I see it, the past is the past. There's nothing you can do to change it. There's no point going through past events, past disappointments, past regrets. There's diligence in pondering to see where there has been a wrong, there's diligence in stock taking but only with the aim to improve. The temptation to wonder how things would have been if... is a temptation to avoid indeed. There's nothing we can do about it, the past, its gone. However there's something we can do about today and the days ahead.

The way I see it, everyone deserves a chance to hope. I once read a book and remember a quote 'don't take away hope from a person, it may be all they have left'. It is the hope of something good, something better, that keeps us going sometimes. It is the hope that tomorrow will be a better day that keeps us alive today. It is the hope that thing change that helps us persevere. Hope is a powerful thing. Makes us lose sleep, endure hardship, ignore pain, go against reason, believe in the impossible. When there is life, there is hope.

The way I see it, life is meaningless without God. Seek Him, however long it takes. Seek Him even though you fail. To seek Him is not a mistake.

The way I see it, life is worth living. Enjoy your life, because this is it.
