Pastor josh from the states preached on saturday at the ACS, same place nights of fire will be held later this month, and the main theme of his messages both saturday and today was faith, faith in God our father.
I must say it hit hard on me, i used to have so much faith in God while i was still quite young and not in a position where i make decisions on my own but things gradually changed as i left home and am now in a position where i make my own decisions and whatever they are, affect the choices i make and sometimes are influenced by other people for better or worse.
Basically i feel God sent him to kuching to tell me hey, i'm still here, can you trust me like you once did? i've not changed, come on lets work together. Reminds me of Jesus when he had to endure the cross and all the sufferings that came with it just so i can have a better life, just so that i dont have to work as much to be right. Even my earthly father had to work hard from when he was in school and even now he's an adult, he had to plan for me to have the opportunities i'm having now, its something to be grateful for and at the same time, this gratitude comes with responsibility to pass on the heritage of hard work and better life to the others under me. Blessed to be a blessing.
Thank you Jesus for never giving up on me, i know i can be stubborn alot of times and i run my life the way i want, i just want to say thank you for all the opportunities that you allow me to experience not because i deserve it but because you are love, and because you love, you give. Bring me to the point where i can be a blessing to others too not being selfish but caring just like you do.
